These airlines offer promotions and big discounts on flights several times a year making air travel in the Philippines more affordable. There are also scheduled chartered flights to major domestic destinations serviced by smaller commer planes.
Philippine Airlines (PAL) is a flag carrier of the Philippines. It serves 20 destinations in the Philippines and 26 destinations in Southeast Asia, South Asia, East Asia, Oceania and North America. Domestically, PAL flies to major Philippine cities from Manila and Cebu, while internationally, it flies between Manila (Cebu to a lesser amount) and cities in the Asia-Pacific region, the Western United States, Canada and Australia. Many destinations served by PAL, especially destinations in the United States, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Japan and Hong Kong, are areas with large overseas Filipino populations.
Airphil Express (formerly Air Philippines) is a budget airline based in Pasay City, Metro Manila. It operates both domestic and international scheduled services from Manila, Cebu, Davao and Zamboanga. It flies domestically to major cities nationwide while internationally, it flies between Manila and Singapore, Manila and Kuala Lumpur, Clark and Hong Kong, Cebu and Hong Kong.
Cebu Pacific Air is a budget airline based on Terminal 3 of Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Pasay City, Metro Manila. It is currently the country's leading domestic air travel carrier, serving the most domestic destinations with the largest number of flights and routes. Domestically, it flies to major cities nationwide while internationally, it flies to Bangkok, Busan, Guangzhou, Ho Chi Minh, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Osaka, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore and Taipei.
Zest Airways (formerly Asian Spirit) is a budget airline based on Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Pasay City, Metro Manila. Domestically, it flies to major cities nationwide, while internationally, it flies between Manila and Incheon, Manila and Shanghai, Manila and Jinjiang, Cebu and Incheon, Kalibo and Incheon, Kalibo and Pusan, Kalibo and Shanghai, Kalibo and Taipei.
Seair or Southeast Asian Airline is the second-oldest airline providing air travel in the Philippines. It is known as the Philippines' premier leisure airline and serves the following domestic destinations: Manila, Boracay, Batanes, Tablas (Romblon), Clark, Cebu, Tacloban, Perto Princesa, Cagayan de oro, Ilo-ilo, Davao, Bacolod, Kalibo – and the following international destinations – Singapore, Hong Kong, Kota Kinabalu and Bangkok. Flight operating under Tiger-SEAir partnership (all international flights from Clark and domestic NAIA-Cebu / Davao flights) are sold through Tiger Airways website. On 16 December 2010, Tiger Airways and Seair officially launched a partnership, wheree Tiger will lease aircraft to Seair, and Seair will operate the aircraft in Seair's work, using Seair's pilot and cabin crew.

Tiger Airways is a low-cost airline providing air travel in Singapore, Australia, Asia-Pacific and Southeast Asian nations including Philippines. It is headquartered on the Budget Terminal of Changi Airport in Singapore. However, on 25 September 2012, it will begin operating from Terminal 2 of Singapore Changi Airport due to the demolition of Budget Terminal for the future Terminal 4 in 2017. Tiger Airways partnered with Seair on 16 December 2010 to provide more affordable air travel in the Philippines.

Air Asia is Asia's largest low-fare airline and a pioneer of low-cost air travel not only in the Philippines, but also in Asia. AirAsia group operates domestic scheduled and international flights to over 400 destinations spanning 25 countries, including Philippines. Its main hub is the Low-Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Its Philippine affiliate, Air Asia Philippines committed its first flight on March 2012, in partnership with Philippine businessman Antonio Cojuangco, Michael Romero and Marianne Hontiveros. Air Asia Philippines' main hub is Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (DMIA).
